In Princess Meredith’s quest to become queen of faerie, she has encountered many obstacles. The goddess seems to favor her, and has given some of her suitors their former powers, powers they had given up centuries ago in order to keep peace on American soil. This was part of the bargain they made when they were kicked out of the last country and had nowhere else to go. Upon hearing of these so-called miracles, more men have come forward to try and father Meredith’s offspring. Even the dark queen’s own captain of the guard, Mistral, came forward knowing he may be risking both of their lives. Will it be a risk worth taking? What other surprises does the Goddess have in store for Meredith and her men?
